Antique Edwardian Arts & Crafts George Welles Kalo Shop Egyptian Revival yellow dold and ancient scarab brooch. The Kalo Shop was founded in 1900 and the shop worked predominantly in sterling silver and copper. However, it did produce a small amount of gold jewelry, especially during its early years. Nowadays very few pieces are for sale and the majority are in the museum’s. Kalo, done by George Welles, 1905-1910, Chicago, Illinois.
