Angela Cummings began designing with lentil-shaped beads in late 1980 and it became one of her trademark designs. After creating her first full collection under her own name in 1975, she became one of a small group of well-known, innovative jewelry designers along with Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger, and Elsa Peretti associated with Tiffany & Co.
